How to Join a Zoom Meeting on your TV

Using your ONSCREEN Spark TV Video Calling camera, joining a Zoom meeting on your TV is an absolute breeze.  Once you've connected and set up your device on your TV, joining from the ONSCREEN App is a matter of just a couple of steps.

1. Open the ONSCREEN App

When you open the ONSCREEN App, you should see the home screen, with a blue button that reads "Join Zoom Meeting".  Click this button.

2. Enter Meeting Code and Password

You will need to have received the meeting code, which is usually a 9 to 12 digit code from the host, along with a meeting password, which is usually an alpha-numeric set of characters.

In the Meeting Code field, enter the meeting code.

In the Password field, enter the password.

Then click Join.

3. Connect to the Meeting

At this point, on your TV you will see the Zoom app come up and start to connect to the Zoom meeting.  If you've properly entered the meeting code and password, one of three things will happen:

1) If the meeting is not started, you will be waiting for the Host to start the meeting

2) If the meeting has started, but has a waiting room, you must wait for the Host to admit you into the meeting

3) You will join immediately if the meeting is started and there's no waiting room.

4. In the Zoom Meeting

Once you're in the Zoom meeting, you will be able to see up to 9 videos per "page" on your TV.  However, the ONSCREEN App offers a few controls to change your experience:

View Toggle Button - you will be able to switch between Gallery View (see up to 9 people per page) or Active Talker (the current person talking)

Mute Mic Button - mute or unmute your microphone

Mute Cam Button - turn your camera on and off

Hangup - Leaves the Zoom meeting
